Along with this, the judge has also ordered him to pay a fine of Rs 50,000. On February 13, 2008, Patna, Odisha, was shaken by this horrific incident. Rima got married to Shekhar Sahu, a resident of that place, aged 26. Shekhar had dreamed of a happy family with his wife. But that dream was shattered in an instant.
That dream. On the morning of February 13, a parcel arrived at their house. Thinking it was a wedding gift, the entire area was shaken by a terrible explosion as soon as he opened it. Shekhar and his grandmother died on the spot. Rima and other family members were seriously injured. After investigating, the police came to know that a young man named Punjilal Meher was behind this entire incident. But who is this Punjilal? Why did he commit this crime? It is known that Punjilal was the principal of a college. But for some reason, he was removed from that post. Instead, Shekhar's mother Sanjukta sat there. After this incident, anger arose in Punjilal's mind. He planned to kill Sanjukta's entire family. So, with the help of the internet, he made a bomb and sent it to Sanjukta's house. As soon as the whole incident came to light, the police arrested Punjilal. Finally, after seven years of the case, the court sentenced him to life imprisonment on Wednesday.
